UK Pokémon TCG Expansion Catalogue

A Pokémon TCG expansion is a fixed batch of cards released together — a single drop of new artwork, mechanics and chase rares that the Pokémon Company brands as one set. Some are full main-line releases that move the wider game forward; others are special sets built around a theme or a sub-line of Pokémon. New sets land in the UK every couple of months on average, sometimes more frequently when a special set sits between two main-line releases. Knowing which expansion a product belongs to matters for pricing, scarcity and tournament legality, so each page below pins those details together with live UK stock.

Poké Tracker maintains detailed pages for every Pokémon TCG expansion available in the UK. Each set page includes a full card catalogue, live stock tracking across major retailers such as Argos, Smyths, GAME, Amazon UK, and John Lewis, and an editorial buying guide covering chase cards, UK pricing, and collector recommendations.

Mega Evolution vs Scarlet & Violet

The current English line splits across two ongoing series. Mega Evolution is the newer of the two, built around a fresh mechanic and a string of Mega-evolved Pokémon ex cards as headliners. Sets in this series have all sold out at launch in the UK, with collectors competing hard for the chase Hyper Rares; the line is on its fifth English set with more announced.

Scarlet & Violet is the wider, more mature block. It’s been running since 2023, has produced more than ten main-line sets plus a handful of special sets, and most products from this era are now reasonably available at retail in the UK. The chase cards that have held value tend to be the Special Illustration Rares from Trainer-focused sets and the standout headliners from special sets like Prismatic Evolutions. If you’re new to UK Pokémon collecting, Scarlet & Violet sets are typically easier to find at RRP than current Mega Evolution releases.

Stock data is updated continuously throughout the day, and new expansions are added as soon as they are announced for UK release. Whether you’re browsing card artwork, checking live availability for a specific product, or deciding which set to buy into next, the expansion catalogue is your starting point for informed collecting in the UK.
