What we know
Storm Emerald is the English-language adaptation of Japan's Storm Emeralda, and it is built around Mega Rayquaza ex. The Japanese set is dated 31 July 2026. Mega Rayquaza ex is the confirmed headliner, reviving the Mega mechanic for one of the most popular box-art legendaries in the franchise's history.
Beyond that headliner, the full card list, set size, product line-up and UK RRPs have not been officially announced for the English release. We are deliberately not listing products, chase cards or prices on this page until they are confirmed — when the official English reveal lands, this page updates with the real detail.
Expected UK release
There is no officially confirmed English or UK release date for Storm Emerald yet. Based on the established Mega Evolution cadence of roughly one English set every three months, and the 31 July 2026 Japanese launch, a UK release somewhere around September 2026 is the current expectation. Treat that as an estimate, not a fixed date.
The Japanese launch on 31 July 2026 is the date to watch for early secondary-market pricing signals. Japanese pull rates and chase-card values tend to set the tone weeks before English product reaches UK shelves, so collectors planning a sealed buy will get their first real read from the Japanese release.
Why collectors care
Rayquaza has an unusually strong collector pedigree. It has anchored some of the most sought-after cards of past eras, and a Mega Rayquaza ex headlining a dedicated set is one of the more anticipated prospects of the current run. Mega-era sets have, so far, sold out at UK launch and held value above RRP afterwards. Whether Storm Emerald follows that pattern will depend on the print run and the strength of the final card list, neither of which is confirmed yet.
How Poké Tracker will track it
Once UK retailers open pre-orders, we will add the individual products to this page and monitor stock continuously across Argos, Amazon, Smyths, GAME, Chaos Cards and the specialist retailers. Set up a free alert now and you will be notified the moment Storm Emerald products go live or restock, rather than finding out after they have already sold through.
