What data we collect

Account data: name, email address, hashed password
Subscription data: Stripe customer ID, VIP subscription status
Usage data: products you track and your email preferences
Technical data: IP address, browser type, pages visited (analytics only, with consent)
Communications: emails we send you regarding your account and (if you opt in) marketing

How we use your data

To provide and personalise the service
To send stock restock notifications (with your consent)
To process subscription payments via Stripe
To manage your account and preferences
To improve the platform through anonymous analytics

Legal basis for processing (UK GDPR)

Contract: processing necessary to deliver the service you signed up for
Consent: marketing emails and analytics cookies
Legitimate interests: fraud prevention and platform security

Data sharing

We share data with the following third parties only where necessary:

Stripe: payment processing (PCI-DSS compliant)
Resend: transactional email delivery
Supabase: secure database hosting (EU region)
Discord: community features (only if you link your account)

We do not sell your personal data to any third party.

Data retention

Account data: retained while your account is active, deleted within 30 days of account deletion request
Payment data: retained as required by Stripe and UK tax law (7 years)
Stock alert history: retained for 12 months
