The Marketplace is where the Poké Tracker community trades Pokémon TCG cards. Here's a full tour of everything it does.
Early access: The Marketplace is under active development. Features are being added and refined all the time, so some details below may change as we keep improving things.
What the Marketplace is
The Marketplace is where members trade Pokémon TCG cards with each other. You list the cards you have and the cards you want, and the Marketplace helps you find people to trade with. Every listing is tied to a real trader profile, so you can always see who you're dealing with and reach out.
There's no checkout, and nothing is a binding sale — listings are a way to signal "I've got this" or "I'm after this" and connect with other traders. Deals happen between members.
You'll need a free account to list cards. Create your profile to get started.
Trader profiles
Every trader gets a public profile at poketracker.co.uk/@yourhandle, which shows your handle, your avatar (you can use your linked Discord avatar), everything you currently have available, and everything you're looking for.
Anyone can view a profile and browse that trader's listings — it's the shop window for your collection.
Listing cards
Listings come in two directions:
- Have — cards you own and want to trade.
- Want — cards you're hoping to get hold of.
For each listing you can set the card (from the full catalogue — every English set is covered), the condition (its grade, e.g. Near Mint — and for wants you can say "Any" if you're not fussy), the variant (the foil type: Normal, Holo, Reverse Holo, or Other — optional, since sometimes you don't mind which version), a price (for cards you have, optional), and a note for anything else worth mentioning.
Variant is worth calling out: a Reverse Holo is a genuinely different card to a Normal one, so listing it accurately helps the right people find it.
Adding cards
Adding listings takes two quick steps:
- Pick have or want, choose your set, and select your cards — search or filter by set (listed A–Z) and tap the cards to add.
- Set the details — apply a condition, variant, price, and note to everything you selected in one go.
If most of your cards share the same details but a few differ, Customise per card lets you override the condition, variant, or note on individual cards while the rest use your batch settings.
Automatic merging
Add a card that exactly matches a listing you already have — same card, condition, direction, and variant — and it merges into the existing one rather than creating a duplicate. Different variants of the same card stay separate, because they genuinely are different cards.
Managing lots of listings
Got a big collection? The Listings tab on your profile is built for it.
- Search and filter — find any listing by card name or number, or filter by set, without endless scrolling. These appear automatically once you've got more than a handful of listings.
- Bulk edit — select multiple listings (or "select all" matching your current filter) and change them all at once. You pick exactly which fields to update — variant, condition, price, or note — and anything you don't touch is left alone. Perfect for adding variants to a batch of older listings.
- Bulk fulfil — mark a group of listings as fulfilled once those trades are done.
- Bulk delete — remove several listings at once (with a confirmation, since it can't be undone).
Even with thousands of listings, the list stays fast and smooth to scroll.
Browsing and finding cards
The main Marketplace page lets you browse everything the community has available.
Cards are shown in a random order by default — this keeps things fair, giving every listing a chance to be seen near the top rather than rewarding whoever listed most recently. If you'd prefer, you can sort by most recent, price, name, or set, and filter by set to narrow things down. The layout adapts to your screen, so it looks right on desktop and mobile alike.
Matchmaking
The Marketplace connects your wants with other traders' haves. If someone has a card you're looking for, that's a match.
Matching works at the card level so you won't miss connections — and it respects variant when you've specified one. If you've said you want a specific variant (say, Reverse Holo) and the other trader has listed that same variant, it matches on that. If either side left the variant unspecified, it counts as a match regardless. In short: specify a variant when you care about it, leave it unspecified when you don't.
Featured Traders
The Marketplace shines a spotlight on a rotating selection of Featured Traders — VIP members with active listings — right on the browse page, each shown with their avatar, handle, and a VIP badge, linking straight to their profile. The selection changes as you browse, so different traders get their moment.
VIP
VIP is Poké Tracker's membership tier, and it comes with a set of Marketplace perks:
- Featured placement in the Featured Traders spotlight.
- Considerably higher listing limits than the free tier (fair-usage limits still apply — they're set high enough that everyday trading is never a concern).
- A VIP role in the Discord community.
- Entry into monthly giveaways.
Free members get a generous allowance to list cards and trade — enough to get properly stuck in. When you're ready for more room and the extra perks, go VIP.
Only your active listings count toward your limits — fulfilled or removed listings don't, so you can always keep things tidy.
