About this product
Ascended Heroes was the set that opened the Mega Evolution Series, and its ETB has held up well over the year since release. Most UK retailers still carry it around £45, and the artwork — focused on the heroic Mega ex line that defined the early reveals — has aged into one of the more collectable ETB designs of the era.
Inside: nine Ascended Heroes booster packs, accessories themed to the set's heroic palette, a Pokémon TCG Live code, and a Heroes-specific promo card that's still occasionally the cheapest entry point into the set's chase tier on the secondary market. The accessories are more usable than some retailers give credit for — the sleeves and dice see actual play, and the storage box is the right size for a set's worth of pulls.
Stock has been steady. Argos stocks Ascended Heroes ETBs through their normal restock cycle, Smyths occasionally has them in physical stores, and the specialists (Chaos Cards, Total Cards, Magic Madhouse) carry them online. Prices haven't drifted upward the way some sealed products do — Ascended Heroes was always going to be a high-print set given its role as the Series opener.
For UK collectors who started with a later Mega Evolution set and want to fill in the back catalogue, the Ascended Heroes ETB is the natural choice. It's still findable, still at RRP, and the cards inside have settled into their long-term values rather than the launch-week froth.
