Thirty-six packs at £154.44 RRP, opening into the most thematically focused set of the Scarlet & Violet run. Destined Rivals is a Team Rocket set in a way no modern expansion had been: 83 of its cards relate to Team Rocket and more than 45 of those are Team Rocket's Pokémon, which is a large share of a 244-card set handed to one faction. Team Rocket's Mewtwo ex is the card that carries it. Cynthia's Garchomp ex and Ethan's Ho-Oh ex are the other names that moved, both Trainer's Pokémon in the format Journey Together had reintroduced only weeks earlier, and Misty, Marnie and Steven Stone all appear with signature Pokémon of their own. The main set is 182 cards. Released 30 May 2025, and sealed boxes have held their value better than most from that year because the theme pulled in buyers who do not usually buy sealed.
