Eight packs, which is the Sword & Shield era count rather than the nine a Scarlet & Violet box holds, plus 65 card sleeves, basic Energy cards and dice. The set is a notable one: Astral Radiance introduced Radiant Pokémon, the one-per-deck Shiny variant that became a fixture afterwards, so this is where that mechanic begins. Origin Forme Dialga VSTAR and Origin Forme Palkia VSTAR head the set, with Hisuian Decidueye, Typhlosion and Samurott appearing as V and VSTAR cards. Main set 189 cards, 246 in total including the Trainer Gallery, so eight packs is a modest slice of a large pool. Released 27 May 2022. Sealed Sword & Shield boxes have thinned out considerably, so this is specialist-shop stock now rather than general retail, and expect to pay above the original RRP.
